As the nights draw in and we start spending more time at home, there’s nothing quite like the welcoming glow of a fire. This autumn, Dimplex is putting electric fires and stoves in the spotlight with a new TV advertising campaign appearing across Sky, Channel 4 and ITV.
It’s the perfect time to discover the latest additions to the Dimplex electric stove range – including the Dimplex Fortrose and new Dimplex Fortrose 3-Sided Optimyst Electric Stove.
Combining the traditional appearance of a freestanding stove with Dimplex flame technology and simple electric installation, the Fortrose range offers an attractive way to bring a cosy fireside atmosphere into your home – without requiring a chimney or flue.

The Dimplex Fortrose is a freestanding electric stove designed to give you the character of a traditional log-burning stove with the convenience of electric heating.
At its heart is Dimplex Optimyst flame technology, which uses water vapour and light to create a realistic flame and smoke effect. The Fortrose also features a log-effect fuel bed, opening doors and a classic black finish.

Designed to be admired from different positions in a room, its panoramic glazing gives you views of the Optimyst flame effect from the front and sides. Dimplex’s patented Optimyst technology combines ultra-fine water mist with light to produce three-dimensional flames and smoke, creating the atmosphere of a real fire without the associated maintenance.
Along with its Optimyst effect and realistic log fuel bed, the Fortrose 3-sided features a real flame crackling sound with volume control, helping add another dimension to the fireside experience. It also has opening doors for traditional stove character.
Its freestanding design means the stove can be positioned within an singlenook, on a hearth or against a flat wall, with no chimney required. The matt black finish completes the traditional stove-inspired appearance.
The Fortrose 3-Sided provides up to 2kW of fan-assisted heat, with 1kW and 2kW heat settings and a thermostat to help maintain your chosen room temperature. When you don’t need additional heat, the Optimyst flame effect can be used independently.
The new model also uses LED lighting, while both remote and manual controls are provided.
The 1.1-litre water tank is accessed through the opening doors. Dimplex states that it provides approximately 8–10 hours of continuous flame and smoke effect before refilling is required, using filtered water.
