The Nu-Flame Evolution Plus Gas Fire combines the traditional appearance of a real fire with modern gas-fire convenience, making it an attractive choice for classic and contemporary fireplace interiors. Designed as a tapered inset gas fire, the Evolution Plus is available in 16-inch and 18-inch sizes and can be supplied for Natural Gas or Propane. Customers can choose from manual, fully sequential wall-switch or fully sequential remote-control operation, while a selection of realistic fuel effects—including coal, log, driftwood and pebble options—allows the fire to be tailored to the surrounding fireplace. The Evolution Plus is also available with a straight or bowed front, helping it complement a wide range of fireplace designs.

The Nu-Flame Evolution Plus is designed to bring a realistic flame and fuel-bed display to traditional fireplace settings while offering the convenience of gas heating. Depending on the model and installation, the fire can accommodate Class 1 or Class 2 flues, while Nu-Flame’s documentation states that additional room ventilation is not normally required on the smaller 6.9 kW models, subject to installation requirements. Safety features include an oxygen-depletion system and flame-failure device, and the appliance uses a piezo ignition system. With its choice of sizes, fuel effects, controls and front styles, the Evolution Plus Gas Fire provides a versatile solution for homeowners looking to enhance an existing fireplace with a realistic gas fire.
